my favourite genre what do you think is the best vertical shooter game for OS4.x ?

would be nice if Edgar would port his Deluxe Galaga sequel to OS4 as it looks awesome

Imho the best one are chromium. Cool gfx, cool sound. Not so good playbility maybe, but looks good.

In last time some shooters was ported to os4 by HUNO (like this one), but if be honest, they far from "best", or even "good". Just somethink to check. For the moment i know about only one good shooter about i talk before :) Maybe soon somebody will port somethink new with good gfx/sound.

Huno's ports are excellent for those who love real shoot'em ups (very oldschool).

Huno put a lot of work in his ports (optimizing things and testing the softs on AmigaOne AND Sam440).

Moreover, most of his ports support joystick.

Huno ported a lot of vertical shoot em up in 2d graphics and they are hot games ! try them you won' t be disappointed

had time to try some of huno's games and I must admit the graphics are mesmorizing!..gameplay is another story though...damn I wish Edgar would port his Deluxe Galaga AGA successor game over to OS4.1

Play with a Joypad to really enjoy Huno's ports. What's more, these are for hardcore gamers. Deluxe Galaga is not

IMHO, the best are Open Tyrian and rRootage, the latter has yet to be re-released though, it required a beta MiniGL which wasn't available at the time of release.

I do have a joypad but so far not many of Huno games support it..as for Deluxe Galaga & Warblade I love em man..I guess I must be more of a retro 'softcore' gamer
