And the next one (though unrelated to PiStorm3D) - I prepared the Beta 1 for GemRB 68k today.

got the emu68k 1.1 alpha2 and it seems to work fine now. dont know why my a1200 dont like 1.0.7 people say its stable, but not at me. anyway something did change and now it works.

Okay i understand that Emu68k is a non-comercial project, so im sorry now for my rage. Amikit13 is in my eyes a comercial project, but i dont want to fight now about that.

anyway cant wait for the 3DPistorm ! it will make so much change and bring old amigas into the future. Special now the SDL2-3 68k are funded too. great future, great work, keep it up !

There are BTW in meantime 3 implementations of SDL2 for 68k.

In most cases it is still making most sense to replace it by SDL1, but especially on 3D Stuff where it just forwards things over to GL you might wish to keep it. I probably will use SDL2 68k on the Serious Sam port (it is already compiling, but not yet linking).

Beautiful project, congratulations! I can confirm that the 3D chip even on a simple Pi3—has excellent potential (definitely superior to the old CyberVision PPC cards.). I’ve used it extensively in pi3 and Pi4 paravirtualization, managing to get Vulkan running perfectly through Wine with astonishing results. Through DirectX I even managed to run titles like Ghost Recon and Half‑Life at an acceptable framerate. Thanks again for your project.

@tlsom:

Remember on amiga we have 68k Emulation in between for
the cpu parts so not the same speed like bare metal.

Also it is not the same video chip so current pistorm3d
only supports videocore VI.

That being said there are efforts to get something for pi3.
And once this runs i will provide a wrapper for
minigl.library so that pi3 runs titles developped
for pistorm3d.
