Trying to find latest Sambfa FS on GitHub but i can only find source code? Is there a download page somewhere???

Any chance you can point me directly to the download page? The one you added doesnt show me samba 2.22. My german isnt good either. Strange that there isnt a download page at Olofs github?

Yeah, sorry about that, I didn't think of it.

I just grabbed the URL from the file comment and posted it.

But I believe there is a thread on OS4Welt where that link must have been posted. Should be possible to find in the "Foren-Übersicht".

Does anyone know if it can work with up to date SMB protocol? i can't seem to be able to conect to my NAS.

Hey Ami603,

It only supports the smb v1 protocol.

I'm running Ubuntu 18 on my home NAS and I needed to add this to the [global] section of smb.conf:
ntlm auth = ntlmv1-permitted

With that in place it works.

SMB v3 support would be very nice :)

You must add this line to the /etc/samba/smb.conf file in the [Global] section:

ntlm auth = yes

This apparently enables SMB V1.

or SMB V1 in the menu of the NAS enables.

With my WD NAS it works perfectly.

For experimenting, if necessary MountSMBFS from the AmigaDepot ;)

I am working on a version 1.4, where you can save the settings per share/account.

There are also some parameters, ARexx support...

today i spent almost all day try to connect my Sam440ep using smbfs to my linux machine.. Everytime i tried to connect to my shared directory i get an error message:

ok i was able to set smbv1 for my linux samba server but even that my amiga still refuses to connect. I suspect that I am doing something wrong..
