Yeah, sorry about that, I didn't think of it. I just grabbed the URL from the file comment and posted it. But I believe there is a thread on OS4Welt where that link must have been posted. Should be possible to find in the "Foren-Übersicht". If you don't find it, mail me at niels (at) nbache (dot) dk. Best regards, Niels

Hey Ami603, It only supports the smb v1 protocol. I'm running Ubuntu 18 on my home NAS and I needed to add this to the [global] section of smb.conf: ntlm auth = ntlmv1-permitted With that in place it works. SMB v3 support would be very nice :) Cheers, Bill "tekmage" Borsari

@Ami603
smbfs onlt support SMBv1, but in your NAS (
https://en.community.sonos.com/advance ... on-openmediavault-6821974 )
...
You must add this line to the /etc/samba/smb.conf file in the [Global] section:
ntlm auth = yes
This apparently enables SMB V1.
...

@Ami603 or SMB V1 in the menu of the NAS enables. With my WD NAS it works perfectly. For experimenting, if necessary MountSMBFS from the AmigaDepot ;)

@Ami603 [spanish] A menos que la seccion [Global] se cargue por cada usuario, supongo que...ni idea. [/spanish] Unless [Global] section is "loaded" for each user I guess...not

@Ami603 I am working on a version 1.4, where you can save the settings per share/account. There are also some parameters, ARexx support...

today i spent almost all day try to connect my Sam440ep using smbfs to my linux machine.. Everytime i tried to connect to my shared directory i get an error message:
Quote:
smbfs: ERRDOS - ERRnoaccess (Access denied). smbfs: Could not connect to server '192.168.1.7' (1/5, ERRDOS/Access denied).but the settings (under linux/debian) are ok as I am able to connect to my shared folder with my mobile phone with android..
This is the string I use to connect under Amiga and I use the latest smbfs version available on OS4Depot (January 2020). Any idea?

@nubechecorre Maybe you must set your sanba server to SMB version 1 on your linux machine. As smbfs only knows SMBv1. Check manual/guides on your smaba service linux machine.

@nubechecorre I think that tha Service part is incomplete in the smbfs command line, probabily you must add condivisa
