5xxx and 6xxx are not SI boards, the SI are 7xxx and the Rx series. and yes on Linux PPC no 3D is working just the 2D accelerations because i found a "workround" for have it running there
Difference between v1 and v2 is composited video support.
The new version 2.15 is on the Enhancer Software Plus because they are needed for the new Warp3D Nova. Did you already get the Enhancer Software because all RadeonHD v2 customers get a discount in AMIStore?
Regardless, we will probably update the standalone v2 driver in future for existing customers.

How does one know if the discount is being applied. Here the price of the Enhancer package in amistore is the same, regardless of me logging in or not. So I'm not sure if my Radeon HDV2 purchase is being taken into account.

Can you explain to me why the non-Plus version of the Enhancer Software still comes with Warp3D Nova, when it only comes with RadeonHD v1?

I find your use of "probably" a bit disconcerting. You should have some clear-cut policy that says whether a customer is entitled to an updated version of the product or not. (The timing of when they get it may be slightly undecided, but that's a separate matter.)
Enhancer Software Standard is supplied with RadeonHD v1.16 which is a special version enabled for use with Warp3D Nova.
The RadeonHD v2 driver will of course be updated with critical bug fixes if they arrive, that would be remiss of us not to address these.
The RadeonHD v2 driver on the Enhancer Software Plus will be updated inside the package to ensure it interoperates with the other components in the Enhancer Software. Our primary development focus is of course on building the Enhancer Software platform because so many future software projects depend on it.
The boing-ball test demo has been updated to use trilinear filtering now (implemented using auto-generated mipmaps and the respective OGL filter modes exploiting that)

While I know little of OpenGL programming, this seems promising :)
