Timelapse Christmas Card desinging in SketchBlock

Okay folks it's that time of year again

Here's this years Christmas Card design, as it happens,

https://youtu.be/HMb-8dQENMA

Painted in a mix of the dev version SketchBlock Pro and the public version of SketchBlock Lite (got a few unexpected clashes) .

Recorded direct from the video card using my EZCAP box. Then time compressed in blender on my laptop.

Record guitar track on my SAM with Audio Evolution, added a touch of reverb and EQ the exported and combined with the video in blender on my x1k.

Merry XMas!

Do you use the mouse or a pen/tablet combination to paint?
(Not sure if a Pen/Tablet actually exists for AmigaOS4...yet)

I use a UCLogic based LaPazz tablet.

There a driver for it on os4depot.net

Abalaban took that driver and some additional info and made one for most Wacom tablets.

Thus there are , and have been for ages, many pen/tablets for AmigaOS 4.1

Ok, cool

Can this tablet be used parallel to a connected mouse?
Let the connected tablet sit in a corner wehile you work with the mouse and only use it (albeit then instantly) when you want to paint?

This has become a nice holiday tradition! Besides showing the talent of an artist and programmer (and musician!), it shows what can be done with one of the best, most capable applications on our platform. Sketchblock gets better and better with every release.

Andy : nice work ! How much time did youd need to complete your work ?

Glad to see artists still using AmigaOS 4.1 to create graphs and music

What system did you use to create the timelapse ?

@K-L

The timlapse is running at 15 times IIRC so the total painting time is about an hour and a half, however, I had a couple of freezzes, which were unexplained, requireing me to revert to save points, I eventually switched to the public version of sketchblock as the problem seemed to be with the developement version, so total time was nearer 3 hours!

If you notice the 'pickup' image was in the clipboard brush already, this was because I had painted it before, cut it out to paste in two coppies, but then a crash / frezze occured, * but * as I was running a my MKShare util (must finalise and release that!) the clip board was coppied to the other machine and I could copy it back.

How did you record that?
Camera on a tripod pointing to your monitor or screengrabber hardware?
