>> even if the kernel under AEON's hands now, developing of it was and still very slow. I can't see how such a speed will help to produce anything which needs changes in. Taking aside if it ever will be released. I just didn't see how with such speed of developing anything can be done<<
Quick correction. The kernel is owned by me and controlled by the ExecSG Team lead by Steven Solie. A-EON has no ownership and is not involved. As for progress, I'm pleased to say it is going well. Steven will provide a full update at Amiwest 2020.
Thanks for the tip, worked like a charm. Now online with my usbadm8511.device.
I did not have to convert product/device information to decimal because the Vendor and product numbers were identical to your model. I was able to read the Macx address via a Windows machine without problem using ipconfig /all from a Dos CMD window,
Now fixed. The problems was caused by an incorrect date setting 40 years into the future! Somehow I had managed to mess up the date and that stopped Odyssey from working. I'm really pleased to have Odyssey working again. I was lost without it!
One issue that still exists is the dowload fonts problem.
I've been using Odyssey without any problems on my AmigaOne X5000 for quite some time.
However, today for some reason I cannot connect to the internet with Odyssey. The program appears to startup OK but just does not connect. I can't even opoen a local html file with it.
IBrowse and OWB work OK as does SimpleMail.
I tried a re-install but it makes no difference. Any ideas?
It looks like is an error by the hotel with r3egards to Saturday night. Brian Deneen has a meeting with the management on Tuesday after the Monday holiday.
