I only spent five minutes on it
I'll have another go when I have a bit more time, it'll probably cross-compile.

@Chris and spotUP I think I forgot to update the qmake executable in the Qt SDK archive, it needs a new version to be able to build Qt apps. Wait a bit, and I'll make a dropbox upload.

@Joeled
No they are for editing latex documents.
Mostly scientific documents where you have mathematical formulas, and thing you normally can't put in normal document.
http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/LaTeX/Formatting I really don't know if you can edit docx whit this, but you can do that whit cinnamon writer,

I'm amazed by how well the GUI looks and fits AOS 4 now. Also since we're talking about these kinds of software, would it be possible to port a MSN client like KMess? SabreMSN works really well but it's always good with options. Maybe Kopete since some user's been asking for ICQ.

http://dl.dropbox.com/u/5482530/Images/QtWebkit1.png Same old problem as with Amicygnix version: Javascript slows down everything A LOT... Dunno what to do about it...

@spotUP As you can see, the images on the page doesn't load for some strange reason. This is quite strange, 'cause really all I have done is to commit the changes that I made for the old Amicygnix version, which worked ok. Only big problem is, that when javascript is turned on, everything takes ages and ages. And then also it doesn't exit properly (doesn't return to the shell prompt).

Just in case that is causing problems.

@Chris
Hah, that was it!
Thanks for the tip!
This calls for some work on your otherwise pretty tasty addon.

@alfkil Make the QtWebKit demo downloadable from somewhere and I'll see if I can figure out what is wrong.

Not the best looking screenshot, but hey, it's a start:

I will maybe try and upload something, but watch out, libQtWebKit.so is 101 MB in itself (with debug garbage and all)!

@antique I goofed up the first time uploading an IFF file instead of PNG. Try again, it should be fixed now.
