I'm running GX750 board, 256mb ram and onboard Radeon 7000. I'm planning on upgrading ram to 512mb when I can. Only recently got the new system.

I too am having problems with the Amiga version the night time/day time graphic sequence is "Whited out" and after it appears it does not go. Meaning I cannot see the earth.

I guess its cos I have a MicroA1?

Anyhow, I downloaded the PC/Windows version which is a bit further on and is different in places, any chance of a port of that version??

At any rate thanks for the hard work, Its appreciated, I must tip something into your Jar soon.

It does use a lot of graphics RAM, and since it can't be extended into ordinary RAM, stuff breaks. A newer version of the game wouldn't likely be better in this regard.

Okay, for MicroA1 owners everywhere.

The game will run on a MicroA1 (Not fantastic speed wise, but it does run)

You need to ensure your WB is set to 16bit depth
Launch the game in full screen mode when you get to the menu's (do not change it after you have started the actual game itself or the screen crashes)

In tests. On MicroA1 the Gfx Ram changes from 4mb left to as little as 263k left (switching between game and WB)

RAM wise you will need to have 512MB of RAM (Unless you want the virtual memory to kick in) leaving about 50MB RAM of main memory when running.

The White out glitch I described earlier when viewing the earth disappears and it all works correctly if set to the above recommendations.

Enjoy

I get ~3-4fps with ATi 9250...

Is it because of the HW or should I expect better results with newer 3D drivers (Warp3D/Gallium3D) ?
