I don't know how to create a 320x240 resolution under OS4 Classic with BVision.. any idea ?

I'm sure someone will provide the mathmatics but I remember when I wanted to create a weird mode (I think I wanted 640x512) I simply went into the Picasso96Mode prefs... selected a mode very similair to it and started experimenting with the editing of it... eg you get a test screen and keyboard controls to move alter the viewing size and location...

good luck

of course, make sure you have your card attached otherwise there'll be no modes for you to edit in this interface.

there's other buttons like interlace and doublescan, not sure if I toggles any of those however, probably unlikely though...

no sure what my 0S4 classic is operating under now... I think ultimately I gave up the pursuit to use as much screen as I could without stretching it... PAL is of course 512 where NTSC is 480... well, roughly in those resolutions I think...

Got in to those sorts of things when I used DCTV... any TV work I done I was using 736x566 overscan or something like that... and NTSC was smaller...

ANYWAY!

add the following tooltype to Devs:Monitors/CVisionPPC

MODE=320x240@75

A1XE, A1200T, X1000, X5020, CDTV, CD32 , A500+ A500
OS4.1b / OS3.2b

You guys are great !, i use two graphics board on os4 and they are great too

For voodoo i used the 320x240@60 and it worked but not for the BVision.. i try this config putting the @75 instead of 60 and let you know if it works

i love 4.0 because, warpos emu work much better here and so play video games like quake heretic II and so on is much better

iv started to edit my screen modes as during installation it loads screen modes i can not used. can someone please comfirm the following.

1. under the test screen mode it shows lets say 1024x768 32bit but on the second line it shows 1024x768 24 is this correct for 32bit screen?

2. why is there nothing shown in the picasso p96 mode in the prefs draw?
