@delshay
Care to share the 1.1 PPC-exe? I'd like to try it out. Thanks!

Good!
I hope you can make the classic WarpOS-version install and work correctly :)

Move unused dosdrivers from "DEVS/dosdrivers" to "Storage/dosdrivers". DiskImage install program copies all stuff to devs/dosdrivers by default.

Wrong! There are development Natamis already that exist. Or did you mean the poll? :)

Somebody please add Natami to the list so I can vote it!

Where's an option for Natami??

I'd buy Natami & maybe a netbook for OS4.x/MorphOS. But Natami comes first! :D

OS 4.0 classic - last working AmiUpdate version?
Just popping in
Just popping in

I realised there was a new AmiUpdate available in version 2.1, downloaded it & installed. It won't open, just complains "failed to open update.library 53.5+". I have this library v53.5 in LIBS:. How can i make this work?

Alternatively, if someone knows if version 1.121 works with OS 4.0 or has last working version for 4.0 please let me know.

Re: OS 4.0 / os 3.9 dual boot - how to?

My temprary workaround for this is a 5sec 3-finger salute that clears the BPPC kickmem-area and boots 4.0 clean. Maybe someone comes up with a working suggestion that doesn't require this .

Ok, i edited Thomas's script and it works nicely now thanks . But i'm having a problem with OS 3.x BlizKick: how to remove it from memory so that it doesn't interfere with OS 4.0 loading its own kickstart? Plain "C:BlizKick" won't remove itself completely. Red & blue boot colors show (OS 4.0) but the pink one doesn't and thus the boot process fails (infinite loop)...

I should have added that my OS4.0 problem went away after the switch from Mediator LT4 --> Mediator TX. Strange huh? :)

@badgerme
I also encourage you to flash your BPPC with this flash-update http://powerup.amigaworld.de/download.php?id=3 if you haven't done it yet.

@badgerme
I had an AT-PSU at the time and i connected the 5V directly to the BPPC fan connector. Surely there's no difference with an ATX PSU if its 5V line's connected to the same connector. Also you can connect your spare floppy connector from PSU to the A1200 motherboard floppy connector to feed the BPPC more. Read here:

@badgerme
You could try the power trick to BPPC fan connector, i used it when i had a BVision and it made my system more stable. Make sure you connect it the right way (red wire towards the ppc-heatsink, black on the edge side of board)

@Daedalus
Thanks for the info.

@badgerme
Install the 68060-libraries found here http://phase5.a1k.org/
the first two lha-packages are what you need. You can read about the library-naming issue here: http://xoomer.virgilio.it/dario.manzoni2/1260software.html#mess

Also have you done the A1200 mobo timing-fix?

If you want a little PPC-info, go here: http://web.archive.org/web/2003121615 ... w-32234/ppcrulez/faq.html
