Ok, umlaute problem more or less fixed. It turned out to be an iconv module issue. I have made it revert to ISO 8859-1 for now, which seems to solve most problems. I am a little weiry though about for instance polish special characters (I remember there being an inquiry about this). Does anyone know, if it is safe to always interpret dos filenames using 8859-1, or do I need to look into some prefs settings somewhere? I tried reading the ENV:sys/input.prefs settings and using the keymap ISO number for interpretation, but that gives the wrong results.

@alfkil You need to use GetDiskFontCtrl(DFCTRL_CHARSET, &charset) Filenames are always in local charset, which means you can't change your character set and expect your filenames to still be correct either.

@Chris I tried using OpenLocale(NULL) and reading the loc_CodeSet entry. That seems to work ok. Is your solution better, though?

@lazi
This one?
If you like to "beta" test - here's a
quick'n'dirty one . Beware, it's completly untested and not really user friendly - need's some more love'n'scripts... Look into the readme, you'll have to expand the SOBJS: assign.
Further I'm not sure all components are usable, some of them might be OpenGL dependent and this is not the most strong part of our systems (and Amiga Qt in that respect).

@cha05e90:
It took almost a day. Impressive!
It's working greatly if the stack is great enough.
Thanks! I love you

@zzd10h I started making one, but got caught in the trails of time. Might take it up again one of these days.

@zzd10h
OS4 native bison 2.3
http://www.a500.org/downloads/development/bison_7z.readme The reason I did version 2.3 was because it was much easier to get compiled for AmigaOS than the newer ones.

Is Caligra suite totally impossible? It would require KDE library? But it would be most usefull to everybody. Tested it with Windows machine, it do what it promises, nyt it is quite different to use than other office suites.

What we may need for Qt (and not only Qt) is a new version of the binutils that support the gold linker

@salass00 You don't happen to also have a version of the flex tool, which is newer than version 2.5.31? :) The one in SDK is 2.5.27, which is not good enough for gstreamer...
