Texteditor gadget

I've got a problem with the texteditor gadget in reaction. I want to have some of the text as bold. But can't get it working right.

from the autodocs:

<ESC> + u Set the soft style to underline.
<ESC> + b Set the soft style to bold.
<ESC> + i Set the soft style to italic.
<ESC> + n Set the soft style back to normal.
<ESC> + h Highlight the current line.
<ESC> + p[x] Change to color x where x is taken from the colormap.
0 means normal. The color is reset for each new line.

The following sequences are only valid at the beginning of a line.

<ESC> + l Left justify current and following lines.
<ESC> + r Right justify current and following lines.
<ESC> + c Center current and following lines.
<ESC> + [s:x] Create a separator. x is a bit combination of flags:

I can get the highlight to work, and tried the +l,+r and +c,they worked too. Can't get the underline working and not bold and italic. No idea why those won't work.
Can anyone help me?

No idea, but on the other hand there is a richeditor.gadget with advanced features coming with (and used by) CodeBench, but no public include file or autodoc for it (yet).

That's because richeditor is still a WIP, the API is still changing, and so are the includes for it. Once it matures Pete plans to make it public.

I hope that this information is wrong, but reports suggest that Coder was killed in a road traffic accident.

It appears so, and very sad news it is to. I lost a close friend some years ago in a similar situation, it too came as a great shock.

My deepest sympathies go out to his family and loved ones left to suffer this bereavement.

In any case, there is a new thread taken up with this subject, so please use that, as it is OT here.

Yes, that thread was started after my above post.
I only posted as it was Coders' last forum post here.
