I am awaiting the release of OS4 for classic in the hope that it will boost the number of attendees. Now given that Christmas is just around the corner, then how people will be paying off Xmas right up till Feb, I reckon march/april next year is probably a good time for everyone.
I take it you'll re-vitalise this thread or put up a new one, then, at the relevant time?
The reason is that there is a product awaiting release which makes use of a type of classes that are not currently available right now. I can't say anymore, suffice to say that it would make everyone else's life a lot easier. For that reason I have not pushed ahead with this yet.
I am hopeful that the next OS4 update will contain the classes which will then enable everyone to sing from the same hymn sheet so to speak.

No cause is lost if there is but one fool left to fight for it.
Another thing. For those of us a little far away, could it be possible (would there be any interest) of having the same but "OnLine Live C Programming" version, through Wookiechat, SabreMSN or Epistula?
I would love to do that, maybe via a combined webcast and something else. Not sure if its do-able with an Amiga though, not exactly blessed with video/audio conferencing software
It is aimed at OS4.x users only.

That would be great. Maybe using streaming audio/video for the teacher/server and mplayer for the students/clients? That way we can see and hear her/him/them and the code and students questions can go through the chat/irc channel?
I live near Seattle, Wa and would love to attend something like this. If there is a way to cast this thing that would be great. Barring that, if it were recorded in some fashion that would also be nice.
Several months ago I found a tutorial with example code for creating a GUI on the Amiga. I could not get it to work on my A1 compiling with GCC. bummer.
I would be willing to pay for a course that taught how to create a calculator like the one that comes with AmigaOS. This would be for OS4 using Reaction.
(Now that I think of it I don't recall what the calculator looks like in OS4. I like the history window in the earlier versions.)
I will accept free tickets to the UK for anyone with more money than they know what to do with.
Have a look at this site http://www.ustream.tv/get-started which says that you can put a video streaming conference through their servers. Check this out. It might be usefull.
Friedens Knows when that will come out! - all worship at the alter of Friedens and other mighty OS4 Developers
The only fly in the ointment is the streaming cast. As you know, there is no streaming software available for the Amiga. So, this will mean a PC/Win/Linux/Mac sitting alongside your AOS4 capable Amiga.
Real bummer.
