After all the BS and Bluster from McEwen, this is the best he could come up with? A warmed over, half-baked kludge long overshadowed by a slew of last millennia technologies.
If true then it seems I was right saying that 'AOS5' is just a media player on steroids and that it has very little, if anything at all, to do with Amiga.
Well, as has been suggested elsewhere, there is a distinct possibility that with Amiga inc being tied up with Microsoft, Amiga Inc only want the Amiga OS back so that they can kill it. I am sure Microsoft don't want a rival OS anywhere.
It seems feasible to me that Amiga Inc would only want OS4 back in house so that they can kill it altogether.
Cheers Mr McEwen

No cause is lost if there is but one fool left to fight for it.
Its a freeken joke.. a bad one.. I am not interested in running AmigaOS on my cell phone.. I had some hopes, but they are all gone now.. BILL! WE WANT A COMMENT FROM YOU on THIS.. AND PLEASE GIVE the COMMUNITY WHAT THEY WANT!

Can't see that because Microsoft have recently released a new version of MS office for the Mac.
What Amiga Inc is shooting for is incomprehensible, due to the fact that, the "Amiga Everywhere" concept could ONLY be enhanced by allowing Hyperion Entertainment to proceed at WHATEVER pace and direction they wish to go in.....
Why? Because then there are TWO chances for success and then it WOULD be "Everywhere".
The TWO distinct products COULD co-exist.
AOS5.0 needs NOTHING from AOS4.x.
Amiga Inc. Del. should just sit back and collect license fees from Hyperion on amount of copies sold and leave well enough alone our pursuits and goals.
Support Amiga Fantasy cases!!! How to program: 1. Start with lots and lots of 0's. 10. Add 1's, liberally. "Details for OS 5 will be made public in the fourth quarter of 2007, ..." - Bill McEwen Whoah!!! He spoke, a bit late.
