I'm using the X5000/40 and everything works great.
Thank you very much, and have fun playing!
Another user reported that the 1920x1080 resolution cannot be used, and I'm experiencing the same problem myself. I can set the resolution in the game to 2048x1080, and when my windowed mode also uses this high resolution, I get about 60-100 FPS in the game. Therefore, I still believe this could be an SDL or driver issue. At the moment, though, I dont know how to debug or test this. The 1920x1080 resolution does work, but the window opens behind the WB.
Does full-screen mode work at a resolution of 1920×1080?

Thanks for the feedback that it's working for you. I haven't tested the Half-Life add-ons myself, but another user has already confirmed that they work perfectly.
There will be one final update, in which I plan to significantly optimize loading times for older hardware, add some performance boosts, and fix bugs.

khayoz wrote:@Maijestro I posted a video on Amigans Discord yesterday about problem free 1920x1080 Xash3D.
What extras you got installed ? Full Enhancer or just the neccesitys (drivers and stuff)?
I watched the video, and yes, it actually works really well for you. What graphics card are you using?
Regarding your question:
When I got the Amiga, AmigaOS 4.1 was already preinstalled, and as far as I can tell, the Enhancer software was installed in its entirety.
Since then, I haven't changed much on the system, except for updating my libraries, installing SDL, and installing FE Update 3.
Under “Prefs” > “screenmode,” I can use any resolution for testing, and I personally use a 1920x1080 Workbench resolution, but with some SDL games and even my own projects—such as Unreal, ScummVM, or Xash3d—the screen opens behind the Workbench, and I can only bring it to the foreground by pressing Alt+N
I'd really like to fix that

Added a new "Mesa" renderer option to StartXash, talking directly to mesa.library instead of going through Warp3D Nova or MiniGL.
Performance on an AmigaOne X5000 + Radeon RX 580 is a massive jump over the existing renderers: peaks of 400+ FPS, never dropping below 100 FPS in normal gameplay, and never below 60 FPS even in worst-case scenes.
Just pick "Mesa" as the renderer in StartXash after installing/updating.
The new version has already been uploaded to OS4Depot and is currently awaiting admin approval.
Thanks to walkero for the Docker build environment, kas1e for Mesa, and afxgroup for clib4 - this wouldn't have been possible without their work.

Not downloaded the new version cointaining the MESA option yet.
Question: Do I have to re-install everything or do I only need to copy some files from the new installer package to my installation?
You should probably reinstall it... or at least replace the existing files located in the Engine folder... The entire engine has been updated, including all renderers and, of course, the GUI that provides you with options. So yes, a fresh install is definitely necessary to get it working properly... You can back up your Valve folder beforehand, or your save files—they're compatible with the new version.
