can someone make a tutorial how to install doom3... i just cannot get it working on my X5000....never have problem like this before...thats amazing how hard it is to get working.
im stuck in the menu when it doom3 starts load maps its ok but then it complain about this and that... start to be phatetic.

Have this hangups before but goes away when change to internal ethernet onboard card on my X5000..
I take out my pci ethernet card from.pci slot too... So only use internal ethnet..

I start many Emotionplayers with 9 different movies at same time played from ssd harddrive.no slowdowns in framerate and only 15-20% of cpu was used.
Impressive stuffs...all movies 720p...
X5000 and RX580. NGFS filesystem..
Enhancher 2.2 are very impressive.😀👍

I have same problem you have before.
But now me only use one ramslot with one 2gb ramstick in left ramslot.

X5000 and RX580 works fine with one ramstick...as soon use in 2 ramsticks or one ramstick with more than 2gb, problems start..
very strange problem.....
another problem with more than 2gb in my X5000, computer cold boot slower with 4gb ram than 2gb ram

Yes I go with 2 of same ram sticks when this problem happen some Times..
But for now only use one 2gb stick. Because SSD faster with one and 100% sure for safe boot straight in to workbench...

I have get rid of boot problems.
But now I only use one 2 gb ram stick in one slot.

And The fact is that my X5000 boot in
13 secs.
And when I try with one 4 gb stick in one slot it boots slower at 35 sec.

I start count from splash X5000 logo boot pic dissapears.

13 sec vs 35 sec is a big different.
And with 2 gb stick in one slots makes my SSD faster in loading every games and program... I just curious why is that..

When I put back my 4 gb stick SSD is slower again... So for now I do not want use more than 2 gb ram before this problem is solved😀
My SSD in my X5000 is so much faster with maximum 2gb stick

One more thing when I use only one stick of 2gb ram stick. My computer never failed to boot, not a singel time...and that with RX580 gfx card...

When I Try my R9 280x card no problem with boot either in any cases. But its still boot my X5000 faster with one 2gb Ram stick.
I only want people tryout for them self...
For example: put in only one 2gb stick in ram slot nearest cpu on your X5000.
And tell me it not load faster.... Much faster with SSD...

And one more strange things is if you use maximum 2gb ramstick only it boots super fast...if Over 2gb ram for example 4gb it boots slower

2 gb = 13 sec boot time
4 gb = 35 sec boot tine

Its seems like AmigaOS 4.1 Fe dont like memory stick or sticks över 2gb ram at all

MAYBE SOMETHING IS WRONG WITH SOUTH ISLAND DRIVER IF YOU HAVE R7, R9...
VRAM MEMORY INCREASE WITH 3MB EVERYTIME IF I QUIT RTCW OR REBORN ENGINE...

IMPORTENT TO SOFTREBOOT EVERTIME YOU MAKE SOME CHANGES IN SETTINGS!

WHEN YOU QUIT RTCW PLEASE DO A SOFTREBOOT OR HARDREBOOT AND TRY START RTCW AGAIN. (VRAM AT NORMAL AGAIN)

(INCREASE OF +3MB VRAM WILL NOT HAPPEN WITH IOQUAKE3 OR EGL SDL1 QUAKE3 ARENA OR ANOTHER GAMES WHEN QUIT.

IDONT KNOW WHY, I AM NOT AT THAT LEVEL OF KNOWLEDGE.

If you have si card set General textures on LOW in settings.

I only have problem with Reborn RTCW.
Other version egl rtcw works with 1920x1080 and high settings with R9 280x.
