Hello everyone. I would like to present you a new application I created called Vault, where users can discover applications to run on AmigaOS 4, links to their websites sites and guides, if there are any.
Remember, it is not a utility that will install applications automatically, but more for discovering the best of them. Not everything is there yet, but I am adding more and more almost every day, and I have a big list of apps to add as well.
Many thanks for the program! Looking forward to checking it out! I'm sure this will be very helpful for those new to the platform, but also others as well of course.
Thinking about it, wouldn't Vault be something that could be bundled with the OS for later releases? If you install AmigaOS 4 for the first time, and you are not familiar with the wide range of software available, this tool could make it much easier to get started. Just a thought. Users can install DOpus etc. as extras, so maybe it would fit in the extras category during installation?

This is a fantastic idea, it would be a kind of App Store for AmigaOs4.1 and the user would immediately have an overview of software that he can use.
@walkero

Possible to have it show which programs are already installed?
Everything is possible, but not in its scope for now. It is not a full installer/package manager tool. I do not know if in the future it will become one, but for now, it is just for people to find what is available, and useful links.
