Thanks all for contributing, testing, helping and all that stuff :) Granted that is not the latest WebKit core but still usable for many amiga needs.
Thank You! I spent the better part of a day testing the r5 version on various sites, including ones that don't really work and I can say that this version is much more stable on my X1000 than the beta07 version. This site with the snowflakes no longer crashes on me. In fact I've had very few crashes with this version.
Very usable. I'm even running piano lessons with videos with it. :)
3). Now on any video when you click on any part of the video, you will have in the right/bottom area gadget to expand the video: clicking on it will bring our accelerated media player back.
What were the dependancies for this "accelerated" video playback? I get this gadget, but when i click on it only the video gets bigger (within the borders of Odyssey) but the cpu load is still at 100% and video is out of sync
@Raziel Just compositing. On Radeon HD which you have all should be fine. it sounds likу you don't install both scripts properly: should be 2 of them and both new ones as explained in the readme: youtube.js and youtube fullscreen fix.js. A restart of Odyssey is needed it as well.
If i understand correctly you were giving @kas1e outside access to your NAS for him to be able to fix that bug, correct?
Would it be possible to do the same and see if you can access my login page?
@all
Could any of you check https://www.hvsc.c64.org/ and tell me if it's still working? I get a light grex screen and nothing else. It worked last year, but it seems they changed something to the site
Of course too. Сompositing has been added to Radeon RX in the first betas of the driver already. Only point out about RadeonHD because Raziel has one in his X1000.
@All Thanks for the donations much appreciated. Not that it is necessary but will collect them on one or another os4 project :)
I can confirm that compositing is working on my system. However, there doesn't seem to be any improvement to the slow video displaying on Youtube. (Using the most recent Odessy browser, the new scripts, spoofing as IPad, everything restarted, etc.)
@PEB It start to works only in "full-window" mode. I.e. when you on youtube with default player its rendered by cairo/cpu/etc/ = >slow. Once you switch to "big" player (you will see how look changes, new buttons arise , etc). then it will be it.
But swithing to big player now tricky : you need to click one or maybe two times on the video in "slow" mode, then click on that icon on the bottom/right side meaning "big window", and player should appears.
Thank you so much for that video! I found the solution at about the 2:20 mark. (I hadn't added those scripts in Windows/Scripts.) Now it works! Thanks, again, for all your work.

I also just see the grey screen. Looking at the page in Inspector, it seems to be rendered by some massive JS scripts (which I didn't try to dechipher ). Probably beyond what we can expect Odyssey to manage.
