OS4 Evenmore ?

I sent Chris Perver some debugging from Damien
Stewart. So, I got back a reply today that he'd take a
look at the AmigaE problems concerning OS4. I don't
what has to be done, but look forward to hearing some
development on this nice textviewer.

me too ! everytime I open the prefs window it completely freezes !

That's nothing new, it has always crashed for me on both my classic and the one time I tried it on my A1.

I tried every update on my classic, could sometimes get it configured, once or twice I even managed to read a doc or two but even then 4 out of 5 times it would crash within a couple of minutes, if I was lucky I might get 10 minutes...

Evenmore makes Win95 look stable

As Bill Gates once said about Windows; "If you can't make it good, make it look good".

A flashy eye candy rich GUI means nothing if it crashes every 5 minutes.

LOL, but it's not the case under OS3.x
Please send the OS4 based bugreports to the author. I can't.

When I said 'classic' I meant A4000/060/128mb OS3.x (mostly 3.5 or 3.9). I've tried evenmore every time it was updated hoping it would finally be usable, using whatever was the current OS and it falls over within 10 minutes EVERY TIME usually within 2 or 3.

Sorry, I overlooked the "classic". The thread topic must have confused me. Anyway, let's hope Chris will come with more stable version soon.

Thanks guys, I am trying my best. It's not easy with no MMU emulation. If I could get my hands on an AmigaOne it would make things a little easier to debug. Will let you know what happens.

If you want some help (I did coding in AmigaE), just ask.
I could try here on the A1 and check if I see something wrong. I'm not a wizard coder but I can try.
