Hello everybody,
If you own the
Amiga User Interface Style Guide and would like to contribute to the platform, join us.
The goal is to write something along the same general idea for future developers. We need a reference guide to keep coherency in our programs. This should help new comers to rapidly "feel at home".
This is not a paid job. You'll do it on your spare time and there is no deadline.
This is an opportunity for non-developers to help the platform.
Anybody interested?

Do you own the guide? Just checking
I'll wait to see if more people join and we'll start working on it.

@Elwood Nice idea Elwood! Too sad, I haven't the original style guide. The German compressed version from "M&T" I have is very limited.

@Amigo1 It's the problem. It doesn't exist in electronic form. Hence the idea to rewrite one. You can buy the book on Amazon.

@Elwood Be aware that it is copyrighted material and as such any site hosting such an electronic copy is on the wrong side of the law. However, a newly written Style Guide is a very good idea. Chris

@Chris Sure. But it's copyrighted only if there is any copyright holders left. Right?

@Elwood I hope this project is supported by Hyperion and the OS4 team? Otherwise it's not much use IMO. This kind of documentation is really important and should be official.
