Expat XML parser has been updated for AmigaOS 4.x and is now available from OS4Depot.

The download area of the Amiga Future homepage has been updated again.

Version 2.1 adds the ability to view/play direct links and play/downlaod video's from sites like YouTube.com, vids.myspace.com, etc. (See below for details.)

BOH continues to improve and now it even runs natively on Linux!

A games package for AmiCygnix containing 22 games is now available on OS4-depot. Most of them are board or card games, but there are also some action games and a fractal explorer:

The latest version of OpenSSH has been ported to AmigaOS and is available for download from OS4Depot.

Amiga Future Homepage Needs Help (Read on)

Simone Bevilacqua, author of BOH, agreed to have small conversation about his game. He talked about inspiration, obstacles he needed to cope with and future plans. Interview is available on PPA (Polish Amiga News Portal) in polish and english and soon also on author's website.

The Amiga platform, in spite of its development, is still incompatible with many contemporary solutions. A good example is lack of a complete support for the up-to-date graphic cards, especially in the field of 3D acceleration (OpenGL) or the Color Management System (ICM). Hans de Ruiter is the one who has met the challenge to develop drivers for the latest AMD Radeon HD graphic cards. The project, which started last year, has already given the first results. It?s reasonable to support Hans de Ruiter?s work in order to reward him for his achievements and to encourage him in his further work.
