Resized Image
The latest version of OpenSSH has been ported to AmigaOS and is available for download from OS4Depot.

Changes to the baseline can be found on the OpenSSH web site.

Change to the AmigaOS port include:
- Fixed problem with port forwarding which was checking if the user is root if the port number < 1024.
- Fixed minimum stack issues by adding stack cookies and minimum stack requirements to all child processes.
- Fixed home directory parsing which was not translating $HOME to a POSIX path.
- Fixed problem with scp not interrupting when CTRL-C is pressed.

This port requires AmigaOS version 4.1 or higher.

 Re: OpenSSH 5.2p1 for AmigaOS
What is it?

Is it for users or just programmers?

@RacerX

It contains tools for logging in remotely in a shell to other machines using secure mechanisms.

"ssh" is sort of like "newshell" but it opens a shell on another machine running a ssh server.

"scp" is like "copy" except it copies to another machine using the same secure connection.
