Owners of old Sam460ex boards which need to update to a more modern graphic card, or which need a more stable driver than the 0.32 version supplied with every board, can order the new driver from A-eon.

Software News : AmiCygnix V1.1 released

A new version of the AmiCygnix packages AmiCygnix-Base and AmiCygnix-Tools are now available on OS4-Depot. An existing installation of AmiCygnx 1.0 can be updated - older software package can still be used.
Upcoming AmiCygnix software will depend on this new version.

According to the official amiwest blog, an additional day has been added to the amiwest schedule for 2012 to focus on amiga software products and development:

This multimedia player is programmed with Hollywood and it is with part of source code from Andreas Falkenhahn examples to VideoPlayer and AnimPlayer, I make this little tool to demostrates the multimedia optios of this programming
language it isn't a sustitute of other best videoplayers but altmost.

Once again, Hugues "HunoPPC" Nouvel brings us a new jewel to play with.

This time it's a kind of Turrican clone named Hurrican with very nice graphics, smooth animations (MiniGL required) and good sound effects.
