Airsoft Softwair has just released a new plugin for Hollywood 5 - Infinity. This plugin enables all Hollywood scripts to load and save images in the TIFF format. TIFF is a format that offers lossless compression and the possibility to store images with alpha channels. Although many Amiga systems already have a TIFF datatype installed, it's still recommended to install this plugin because OS4's TIFF datatype doesn't support alpha channel graphics and saving via datatypes is also problematic on many systems.

Assistant Handling Images Web, programmed with Hollywood and this program is an easy tool to make web sites, handling pictures for it, resize, convert to graphic formats, thumbnails, and several filters. the new improvent from this version is the support to jpeg2000 format with the use of new Hollywood plugin for this format, more information from the official site:

New batch of AmigaOne X1000 approved for production

A-EON Technology is pleased to announce that, due to overwhelming customer demand, we have commissioned another manufacturing run of AmigaOne X1000 systems with our suppliers. We expect to receive new boards from Varisys within 8 to 10 weeks.

A new version of Gimp for AmiCygnix is now available on OS4-depot.

Gimp is a freely distributed program for such tasks as photo retouching, image composition and image authoring.

A status update has been posted on Hyperion Entertainments web site outlining the current snapshot of development towards AmigaOS 4.2.
