What I was I trying to point out if you like up to date version of Personal Paint you need to ask Cloanto, they have source code; they are the ones that can update or improve it.
I can tell you from personal experience that writing a paint program is not easy, personally lack the motivation to take on a huge project like that.
Right now it?s all about online games for me

The short answer is that there is no PPC version available and unless you can persuade Cloanto to spend 1-2 man-years of development, there won't be one.
what do you base the 1-2 man year assumption on? ppaint is written in C.
@all it is also very buggy under os4. even with all tweaks it looks like it works, but if you do any serious work in it you will stumple into a lot of problems.
I had trouble with the aminet download version of PPaint, but I have not had any problem with the version that comes on Amiga Forever 6. I do believe that I have to use the 68000 version of the program. (even though there is a 68020 version included) It is extremely fast.
I changed my "SetPatch QUIET" line to "SetPatch ADDCHIPRAM=2 QUIET" and now PPaint no longer gives an error about starting up in "Memory Save Mode."
As you said, it is buggy and written for OS 1.3? 2.0?
To bring it up to date with OS4.x, it would need a good deal of rewrite. The GUI would have to be rewritten, Reaction windows, classes, any special gadgets, etc. All the Exec and DOS calls have to be checked for correctness and consistency, you can't get away with lazy programming any more. Memory allocations have to be redone, double freeing and closing has to be prevented.
That's why I estimated a year or two (6 months to a year for two people).
@tonyw Thisis the answer that I want, short and direct, not longest explantion to arrive the same point than a short, there isn't one PPC version available, writing to Cloanto, if they want port their program, I think that they have done, and I want know if they had done, nothing more.
