Samsung ST65 digital camera is recognised and works as a PTP device.
Choose printer mode on camera after connecting it. |

@ kicko
of course it may be of interest to an amigan out there that is considering buying a similar card and wants to know for sure if it works with the latest AmigaOS4.x so thanks for posting. It's great to see that nowadays we just assume it will work with OS4.1 update 5 as USB functionality has really improved since Update 1. |

HP Officejet 6700 Premium e-All-in-One.
Probably no surprise given the working HP printers already listed, and it's probably a safe bet that some others in this range would also work, using the HP_PhotoSmart driver on OS4Depot. Well, maybe not the 8600 -- you have to set up a wireless network via the Windows (or Mac) install CD, and apparently it can't be connected by USB or wired LAN. With the 6700 you can set up the wireless from the printer itself, and just plugging in a USB cable from the computer works fine. It's not 100%. Scan-to-(Amiga)computer doesn't work, but scan to thumb drive and up-load to Amiga is a reasonable work-around. I was very careful to buy a printer with automatic duplexing, but the driver in question won't handle that, so a bit of a waste of money, for now anyway. I haven't found a work-around for this -- AmiGS, asked for duplex, prints one page of a batch, then says to turn it over and click "Continue" to get the other side. Then it prints the next front page, but doesn't allow turning again and the printer just sits there, "Now printing." (I haven't quite given up yet.) I had originally bought a much-more-expensive HP M451dn as what looked like the perfect replacement for my broken 2605dn. However, the manual said not to hook up a USB cable until the Windows installation software said to, and the return policy was "unopened condition," so I returned the printer without trying it. |

This thread would make an awesome little website.
I imagine the list broken into categories with images of the item and links to potential purchase sites.... ![]() |

Smart Wireless Headset pro.
Just got a toy from work to use at work :) First impression a fine little thing that can be used with mobile with bluetooth and also thru apps (havent tried yet). It can be used on its own as it has built in radio and sdcard port so you can listen to mp3s. As usuall good sound with sony products atleast headphones etc that i had lately. Much better then the ones i get with samsung. So for the amiga i tried connecting it and the headset's oled screen asks if i want to use it to transfer files. Yep :) Drive appears on workbench. Fired up dopus4 and copied some files. Worked fine. http://www.sonymobile.com/global-en/p ... art-wireless-headset-pro/ |

M-Audio makes a lot of MIDI devices.
I recently found they are rearranging their website information pages to give better information on exactly which devices are "class compatible". I have tested a few of these myself, but I trust that all these can be assumerd to work with the camd usb driver. All are M-Audio brand: Axiom 25, 49, 61 Axiom 25, 49, 61 (2nd gen) Axiom Pro 25, 49, 61 eKeys 37 Keystation Mini 32 Keystation 49e, 61es, 88es KeyStudio 25, 49 KeyRig 25, 49 Oxygen 8v2, 49, 61 (silver) Oxygen 25/49/61/88 (blue) O2 MidAir MidAir 25/37 MIDISport Uno (current model) MIDISport 1x1 (black top) MIDISport 2x2 & 4x4 Anniversary Edition ProKeys 88, 88sx UC-33e X-Session Pro X-Session UC-17 The website even gives details about identifying models that MIGHT be compatible, like the Uno (I have an old one that does not work) and the 1X1, which I have a "black top" model that works great. Also, on their Keyboards and controllers that support USB and MIDI, there is usually an option to use the device MIDI connections as aditional MIDI ports for CAMD, so you get a device AND an few more MIDI ports for CAMD, all in one! |

XEROX Phaser 6180MFP
Works via USB and LAN seems that printing only works via Postscript, which means that photos are printed to dark. Other than that, printing is perfect. Scanning works via Scan to ftp and Scan to SMB. There are no drivers neither in Linux PPC nor in OS4 which enables you to scan via any sort of GUI. There is sadly no Web Interface which could be used for scanning (like in some HP Printers). In my case, I connected a Harddrive to my Router (FritzBox), set up an FTP server on FritzBox and scan to FitzBox FTP. I can then mount FritzBox via mountFTP on my OS4 machine. |
