A couple of weeks ago I worked on the port of "The Battle for the Solar System: The Pandoran War", an exceptional shoot'em up by Stephen J Sweeney and Parallel Realities. This is my second game release ported to AmigaOS 4 and I am really excited accomplishing it. While I was working with it I learned a few things about SDL and how nice it is for game development.

The English and German issue 158 (September/October 2022) of our print magazine Amiga Future has been distributed today, and can also be ordered directly from our editorial office at Amiga Future, and from other Amiga dealers that stock it.

Hello, everyone ! There are small indermiddle releases while another big round of GL4ES ports is in progress.

These comprise of the full colour preview and excerpts of our Amiga Future issue 158 (September/October 2022) which can also be viewed online on the Amiga Future website.

RNOEffects is a simple image processing program with a focus on good batch conversion options and alpha channel based effects. A new video demonstration of the program is available at YouTube.

We would like to share with you an update about the production of the new Sam460LE. Well, to be short… the boards are expected to be ready by the end of September – yes, THIS September, just in time for AMIGA37 event (HINT: ACube will be present in Mönchengladbach, Germany… so connect the dots…).

We had to overcome many issues that slowed down the production, but now – finger crossed – we managed to fix them all.

The magazine Obligement publish today an interview with our friend Daniel Jedlicka, musician, ex-member of the demoscene and developper of several AmigaOS 4 audio applications like ADRipper and the recent Rave.

Amiwest 2022 October 22-23rd

In honor of the 25th incarnation of Amiwest, the organizing team has been hard at work putting together an amazing show. First, the show hotel is currently under renovation and will be complete in September. So many attendees who stay in the hotel will be treated to refreshed rooms. The show hall is getting a new modern look with better lighting, a welcome change.
