So, AOS 4.1 is finally out, and has started to reach users!
With AOS 4.1 came a beta of MiniGL 2.0, so SDL/GL ports are finally possible.

With the author's (Massimo Tantignone) permission, I have uploaded another Compositing demo program to os4depot.net - this time, the Dice demo that was featured in one of the screenshots I did for the AmigaOS 4.1 press release.

We're pleased to announce that after half a year of hard work, the long-awaited, new, full AmiKit has finally been released.

For everybody interested, I have uploaded two small demo programs to os4depot.net that show off some of the possibilities of the compositing engine of AmigaOS 4.1. Don't expect any miracles, though, they're very simple and just there to show that compositing goes beyond rounded corners

The Amiga computer represents a lot of firsts in the computer industry but it also represents many missed opportunities. Since the death of Commodore in 1994 the Amiga has descended into dark times.
