changelog ? Cool !
Is there some usual change log somewhere avail for all ? Something like "since previous version of driver that was fixed that was added". All i see on aeon page its general info about driver itself, not what was changes in new version, which is interesting to know. |

HISTORY ------- 1.0 2014/03/29 - Bumped the version to 1.0 1.0 RC4 (0.59) 2014/01/29 - Disabled compositing for 16-bit target bitmaps/screens with Radeon HD 7xxx cards (never worked properly due to hardware limitations) - Fixed a bug introduced in 1.0 RC3 (0.58) that caused Composite3DDemo to lock up the machine... |

Issue with composite demo? Since updating to V1.0, the composite demo no longer runs.
I simply get a grey screen. If I click mouse I get a lock up.
Demo ran fine on RC4.
Anyone else get this?
edit.
downgraded to rc2 and still get the grey screen issue.

Re: Issue with composite demo? Since updating to the new version, I am also getting a slightly flickering grey screen when trying to run the demo. This in on an X1000 with a Radeon HD 6570. Haven't noticed any lockup though.

If it also happens with RC2, then it can't be this update. What else have you changed on your system since you last tried the Composite3DDemo? EDIT: By "changed on your system" I'm talking about OS updates, settings changes, etc. Hans |

Solved I discovered what is wrong with the Composite3d demo on my system....
NOTHING.
I downloaded the Composite3D demo from the user area of A-Eons website.
But it seems the file that is delivered is NOT the Composite3D demo but the RHDRMTestR700.lha
The actual Composite3D demo runs perfectly well.

@BCP Here's the explanation why it won't work. _______________________________________________ oops sorry guys just noticed this thread & yes my problem was solved in the thread noted by Raziel so anyone with a grey flickering screen with a 68xx card just use the 3dcomposite demo as the download on A-Eon's site is only designed for 4x or 5x Radeon HD cards. update: just noticed ddni's post which is exactly the same issue and solution as noted above. |
