DOSBOX and Duke3D Atomic Edition BUILD.EXE

Hi.

When running "build.exe" for Duke3d Atomic Edition in DOSBOX I get the error:
320 200 not supported in this graphics mode

But, when I run setup for "duke3d.exe" I choose 320 * 200 and the game works.

In any case, can someone tell me how to run "build.exe" in DOSBOX?

@rjd324

Have you tried with RunInDosbox?

Thanks, but that does not make any difference since it is just a wrapper for DOSBOX anyway.

Someone out there has Duke3D Atomic Edition and someone out there has tried to run BUILD.EXE using DOSBOX. I have searched for the answer, but cannot find it.

For once, I would just like to get the answer, rather than looking at porting over the source code for BUILD - which requires a really old compiler for a start.

This is not answer you need, but a little bit of help: All the dosbox related questions/discussion are there: https://www.vogons.org/viewforum.php?f=53

There and main author of dosbox, and those ones who made big-endian fixes, and that one who made ppc-jit, and authors of all the forks of dosbox.

So if you have any questions about dosbox (not related to os4 port of course), then https://www.vogons.org/viewforum.php?f=53 is the right place to ask for sure. If not them, then noone :)
