OK, I don't know what you've done to fix that, but if it's working I'm not going to worry about it too much. If it comes back, try build #1900 or later as I
think I may have fixed the long-standing text input problem I was having.
Quote:
The only thing missing i can think of right now is support for keyboard shortcuts like Hold Shift and press Cursor right to reach the end of the line Erm, works already.
Quote:
Hold Shift and press Cursor left to reach the beginning of the lineAs does that.
Quote:
Hold Shift and Ctrl and press any cursor to mark the line and so on Keyboard highlighting is not implemented. If you want it, raise a feature request on the bugtracker.

@Elwood
Yes it is
Although I'd suggest using build 1982 as that updates the menu when the hotlist window is closed.
If you have pre-existing items in the hotlist menu they take a bit of encouragement to get their favicons. The easiest way to do this is:
* Go to the bookmarked page
* Open a new tab whilst on that page, or switch from and back to the initial tab
* Open and close the hotlist window to force the menu to update

@trixie Ta, although if Frederik hadn't fixed the long-standing GadTools bug a while back this wouldn't have been possible. I'd be inclined to change all the menus to pretty graphical ones if I could get the highlighting to match the OS4 style properly.

@chris Do you think Fredrik could add a little distance between the image and the text in menu items?

2. Downloading something and while showing the download progress window will raise the cpu usage to 100% slowing everything else down to a crawl. Is this any better in build #1996?

@Chris Back home and finally with an Internet-connected Sam, I've updated NetSurf to the latest test build. Tremendous improvement over the year! - everything's much faster and slicker, text boxes finally seem usable, Netsurf's now really fun to browse with. Well done!

@Chris
Hi I tried the
www.TheVerge.com but none of the images was rendered, does it lack support for a picture format?

@LiveForIt Looks fine here, what pictures are you missing? NetSurf falls back to DataTypes if it doesn't internally support a format, but all those images are JPEGs AFAICT.

@Chris Would it be possible to remember the size of the search string gadget? I find it too short to be usable, and as NetSurf forgets that I've resized it after the browser window closes, I need to resize the searchbox over and over again.
