midi music with ultima 7 (exult)?

just found exult on Os4 depot and am loving playing Ultima7 again under OS4.1 ..my question is can anyone tell me how to setup timidity to play the midi music for Ultima??

It's been a long time since I set it up. Do you have the .ogg files inside Data/Music?

If not download these . . .

INSTALLATION
------------
Create a music directory in exult/data (i.e. exult/data/music/) and extract the two ZIP files U7MusicOGG_1of2.zip and U7MusicOGG_2of2.zip into this directory.
Start the game and select "DigitalMusic" from the "SETUP/Midi Convert" option and restart the game.
Talos BlackBird (awaiting a Miggy like OS)
Amiga 4000 OS3.9 / Pegasos II OS4.1 FE

yes, you need the ogg files to hear music Works fine here, at the moment i am not on the amiga, but as soon as i go back to it i'll check and tell you which files i have

That program doesn't check timidity.cfg in ENV/ENVARC:, so it's not as simple as it could be. A location of TIMIDITY:timidity.cfg should work, and the instruments can be given relative locations. So if there are no other programs also checking TIMIDITY:timidity.cfg you could perhaps assign TIMIDITY: to ENVARC: and avoid moving/renaming the instruments directory.
