I have try the latest USB audio driver on a SAM440 computer using a cheap 7.1 usb audio adapter and sabrent sub adapter. Using A HI and the audio driver ,I am not getting any sound.

Make sure in AHI you set "Unit 0" also with USB Audio. However i'm testing in on my Sam460 FE3 and at moment there are no problems. I will release 2.4 version once I test it correctly

Anyone who has a SAM 440 FE3,please can try this USB Audio driver. I have try on two SAM 440 machines without success.
In the SAM460 it work with success.

I've just uploaded version 2.4 on Ko-Fi page.
Make sure you copy (reinstall) libusb-1.library, usbaudio.audio and USBAUDIO
Use the installer and restart. Make sure that the files are correct
Make sure that you set BOTH Unit 0 and Music in AHI (and maybe test also that you can hear the sound)

Does the SAM440 has USB2 - i.e. a EHCI USB controller?

Only the EHCI hardware driver supports the USB Isochronous data transfer type which USB Audio requires.

(edit): Checked myself - seems like SAM440 has EHCI. But make sure you're not using a USB1 hub between the Amiga and the USB audio interface - such a hub would strip out the capability for audio below the hub.

Still no sound, exactly like previous version.

But with what you tested the sound?
Did you set in AHI both Unit 0 and Music Unit? because yesterday on a fresh installation of FE3 i've spent one hour and Unit 0 was not set.. and all music programs are using Unit 0
Did you try a test sound? Which Mode are you using? and which card?

It's a Logitech G535. Yes I changed Music Unit and Unit 0. I tried test sound and also SongPlayer where I first changed the mode to use your driver.

I've tried 16-bit stereo Hifi and no Hifi.

I changed the settings back to use the analouge output and saved. The sound didn't come back on.

I then removed the transmitter and turned the Amiga off but I think that it might've been the reason.

The trasmitter was connected directly to one of the USB-ports on the motherboard this time.
