To clarify, I'm not Arti the developer. I'm just posting about his campaign around the web to raise awareness, as I feel having an MK3 port available to Amiga gamers would be cool.
If there is any place to suggest more portings, I would like to play Splatter House and Cadash on Amiga.
Would not be surprised if one or both of those eventually see an Amiga version. Especially now that Scorpion Engine makes game creation a lot more accessible to Amiga users.
This version uses SDL and some x86 assembler code rewritten for 68k so that it can be ported to Amiga.... it would be nice to try to port it to AmigaOS4 too but someone who knows a bit of PowerPC assembler is needed to convert the necessary parts
Yep, on modern systems the parts written in assembler may also be rewritten in C, after all there are only a bunch of files, but I have no idea of the feasibility or difficulty
If you plan to replace assist with more demanding assets, or you want better controller over input, or scaling or want to use 3d features.
A emulator is demanding, and the game might not run well on a slower computer like sam440, or on Amiga4000/CyberStormPPC or something old like that inside emulator.
