USB-C mass storage
Not too shy to talk
Not too shy to talk

I recently bought a USB-c M.2 (NGFF&NVMe)2 in1 storage module off Temu for a penny. I also bought a 500Gb stick to go with it, thinking it would make a good backup. I am pleased to report that it works fine on my machine both before and after update 3.

@Swisso

Have you tested that you can fill them up and read the contents back unchanged? Just saw some talk in another context which reminded me of those fake USB sticks and similar claiming to have a certain size but not really having anything near it.

And since you did say "temu" and "for a penny" ...

Best regards,

Niels

@nbache
hadn't noticed before you said, total occupied size of 3 partitions is 132Gb
but backup disk says 55.5 gb used 12% full
on a 500Gb stick that reads correct but the info that has been copied is a lot more
checked sizes with directory opus and all info matches size for size.
only thing i did do different was use NGF filetype when i set up the drive as opposed to sfs2.
