Regarding the right click, I tried with a version of OWB and the right click works but not much else.
Did you try my AmigaOS3.9/m68k port of OWB, and/or the first AmigaOS 4.x OWB SDL ports from Andrea, as well? Both should be based on similar Pleyo OWB versions. Someone mentioned my AmigaOS 3.9/m68k port of OWB (unlike my AmighaOS 4.x ports it's just a straight 1:1 port using SDL, without any additional features like a GUI, address bar, or anything else the Pleyo OWB didn't have either, added), which can be used on AmigaOS 4.x as well, is working very well with Browservice.
Theses older versions, based on Pleyo, lack too many features compared to the 1.23 release.
Personnaly I have tried all the released versions (yours, Andrea's and Kas1e's ones).
I did not try the 68k version (well I tried but did not manage to make it work without any problem) but I'm pretty sure it will lack some features like tabs for example.
Honestly, the most feature complete is the 1.23r5.
to download archive, and extact it with CABEXTRACT (https://www.cabextract.org.uk/) After unarvhived, copy verdana ttf to the path the error/warning message said ($HOME/.browservice/appimage/fonts).
Did you add browservice.js to the script list of Odyssey ?
Don't forget to modify it as I did (see my previous messages).
I think I did everything the way I understood it, and it works well. The pages open very quickly via the browser service.
I recorded how it works for me, and here you can also see if I set it up correctly. You'll have to rethink things a bit, as I use my system in a different language.
At the end of the video, you can see a few problems:
1. I can't download files. The download is displayed, but when I click on it, it just disappears.
2. As soon as I keep the mouse pointer in the address bar, Odyssey updates all the time. The same thing happens in Google search. If I move the mouse pointer away, it seems to work fine. Do you have the same problem?
@walkero
Thanks for the Browservice.js script. I'm not sure if it's working as it should at the moment, but thank you anyway.
I don't see where you try to dowload something in your video.
You can see it in the video here at 5:06. I'm trying to download the SDK add-on via Browservice... Browservice shows me the download, but after I click on the download button to confirm, it just disappears.
Or do I need to do something else?
Also, when the script is activated, I don't see a mouse pointer within the Browservice interface, just a text cursor. It's quite possible that the Windows version of Browservice simply doesn't work any better.
I have a little more time tonight and will show you again in another video with the Browservice.js script activated.

Everything is going fast (browervice.js slowed down everything), the display is not blurry anymore (browservice.js was resizing the image displayed and yhe image was blurry).
Pointer is also now working correctly.
And no more refreshing/resizing of Odyssey's window.
It's even faster than Wayfarer MorphOS on my PowerMac G5 2.7 Ghz.
I think this is for now the best solution to be able to use a modern browser with AmigaOS 4.1.
Here, the user is stuck on Linux x64....it works on Windows (Arm), but unfortunately with limitations. Downloading doesn't work, mouse pointer problems.
I tested it further on modern Linux distros (ARM) Ubuntu/Fedora and failed here. Apart from that, it's not really user-friendly.
Nevertheless, I agree with you that if you use this setup 100% and are successful, this is currently the best solution for using modern sites, including the download function, under AmigaOS 4.1.

Ar you trying to use your Mac Studio with virtualization of Windows ARM or Linux ARM or Linux x86 (which is emulation and not virtualization)? If yes, I can understand all your problems.
A simple Raspberry 4 would be way easier for you. I'm using a Mac Pro 2013 with Linux Magaia 9 and everything works as intended. If I had not this setup waiting to be of some use, I would have gone the Pi4 way.
Honestly, except the part to get rid of constant reszing window (and BTW, you could also simply spoof as Classilla and it would work), there is nothing else to do than launch the exe on Windows or the AppImage on Linux.
I have to use exactly the browser service version 0.9.6.4 that you specified, and then the download function works.
It just didn't work with the latest version 0.9.12.0 of browservice that I used every time. And yes, I use Windows ARM (virtualization).
Sorry, I was a little frustrated yesterday after countless tests to get it to work.
It's great and I can now download everything directly with Odyssey, no more switching back and forth to my Mac. I'm leaving the Browservice.js script disabled for now as it causes too much of a speed loss.
yeahhhhhhhhoooooooooooooooo thank you
