Yes . From what I've also noticed I think it's about "Flower Pot" from Amikit. Such an overlay on WinUAE for AOS4 classic emulation with add-ons.
I have not used, but I think there are some free versions with delay or paid versions.

It's a shame that it went this way. Anyone using this at all "Flower Pot"?

It appears there will be two versions: a set of 96x96 pixel icons for Amikit (likely included in the next release, given the icon set's release date, with Amikit's new version expected in July), and a second set of 256x256 pixel icons targeted for OS4.

I think they both know each other, and why not use Amikit's platform as a showcase to distribute their product?


@digitaldesigns, will the pack include 'base' icons so developers/graphic designers can also offer an alternative to the official AmigaOS4 style with their games or programs (ie. in png format)?

And by the way, congrats on the work you've achieved! Count me in for a purchase.

Why would this be the end of the project?

I have made icons for Amiga OS4.1 and a single color version for AmiKit which you get for free.

AmiKit is a place where you can buy a product for yourself, the money naturally goes to me.

I am more than grateful to the owner of AmiKit that everything from the purchase to the delivery of the product is handled through his website and he doesn't even ask for money, I don't have my own website at least not yet, that's why this arrangement.

The finished product, which will be released on July 19, 2025, will include Amiga OS 4.1 icons in size 256x256, which is a total of 5964, and many of the same icons have been used for AmiKit and new ones have been made that have been changed to icon size 64x64.

Yes, it will include empty files for different folders and icon templates in 7 different colors.

These are .info files like all icons but they are actually dual png icons.

The only thing that has changed along the way is the change in the price structure, i.e. pay whatever you want but at least €4.95 so it's the same price if that's what you want :)

Classic Blue color of the icons which are not 100% complete will include the Amiga OS4.1 package for free and will be released 19.07.2025

If the AmiKit side gets interested, I might make other colors, but for now, this is it.

You shouldn't confuse Amiga OS4.1 Flower Pot emulation with the real thing, nor AmiKit with flowerpot.

I have AmiKit installed my machine and as far as I know it doesn't use any OS4.1 files but reqruires os 3x roms to work.

So to confirm these are PNG files?

The .info file consists of two png files, meaning there are two different layers.

You should be able to open it with Photoshop, as the free Gimp program can also open it.

So these are usable under linux as well?

The fact that it shows under XFCE thunar as an icon means it will work also under linux. It will obviously be missing the interactive features of these icons when they are highlighted etc...

Before installation it´s always good idea to make back-up of your
original icons.

Use this command in shell (you have to be lha installed):
Lha a -a -e -r -x Icons_Backup Sys:#?.info

Note: You can change Icons_Backup text whatever you want and if you want to make other partitions backup so just change
Sys: to Work: or what name is your partition or hdd.

If you want previous icons back it is easy, just double click your made Icons_Backup and point it to the system partition, that´s it,
i have tested it and it works well.
