@Fairdinkem I guess is a matter of what 3D framework the developers want to use between the old warp3d, OpenGL or the Warp3DNova. As much as I understand the latter is easier to be used and seems more complete and up to date, using more powerful GfxCards.
On that, I believe Hans, Daytona675x and Imagodespira are more capable to answer than I.
At the risk of thread necromancy, is there any update on this? I've been checking https://entwickler-x.de/super-star-blast every now and then, and no Amiga news. Is it ever going to come for AmigaOS 4? I'd gladly pay for it, even if it is "rough around the edges". Loved Transplant back in the day and this brings back some great Amiga gaming memories :)

“Almost one year later.... A big issue in our OS4 Super Star Blast Version was found and fixed! It was a showstopper because it was only a problem on X5000 (we only have X1000 here). Last weekend, we where on an Amiga Meeting in Germany (Amiga Meeting Nord, Neumünster) and with the testing skills of "Root", Frank has found the problem in the game. It was a Shader issue with "Bloom/Glow" filter. We don´t know why it is only on X5000 but we are happy that it runs well now. Next step is to adjust the settings, test a but more and finish the work. Fingers crossed, that we can do a digital release this year (around christmas?) But only, we do not found new problems 😉”
