Hi MamePPCA1,

You wrote:

"The situation now is that EUAE_1.0.0 still doesn't load the rom named "Kick3.1.rom" (...)"

Then you wrote:

"(...) it cannot load kick.rom"

Have you tried renaming the Kick3.1.rom to kick.rom? Looks like the emulator is looking for a file called "kick.rom". Worth a shot!

You have to change a few parameters.

The Path to the roms for example.
I dont think you have an A1200: assign, so just point to the location of the roms.

Also the hardfiles (Virtual HDDs) are different then the ones i am using in my config.

If you adjust these it might work ..

OK since today's night I happily could have changed correctly the paths to my 2 AmigaSYS installation and voila the Amiga emulator runned and showed the Kickstart 3.1 display screen.

Now I have the doubt of typing OK the HDD lines to boot AmigaSYS.

You men that you probably have more idea than me on E.UAE and AmigaSYS,please just tell me how to configure a HDD line inside the -uaerc line-parameter file and finally boot AmigaSYS4 inside the E-UAE Amiga emulator.

Ah and I love to play Xtreme Racing,Ivanhoe and Genetic Species on my Amiga emulated system. It's true gold for me to have an Amiga 1200 installed on my X5000
while the guys of AmigaKit are still holding its position to never give me the Amiga 1200.

Well if you have a HDF file is should look something like this:

hardfile=rw,32,1,2,512,WORK:A1200/Drives/amigaSYS.hdf (where the WORK:A1200/Drive/ should be replaced to the location of your amigaSYS.hdf file.

Hope it works out!

Now I have a doubt:

Finally I installed and runned AmigaOS 3.9 inside E-UAE.Very happy and lustful with this endeavor.

I have a dir inside AMIGASYS4 called Work.In order to appoint to the right direction and boot this DH1: partition, which name may I add on the Work line inside .uaerc so that E-UAE recognized it and make bootable inside the emulator?

Hope someone can help me.

You mean you have a WORK directory within the amigasys4 HDF, or do you have a work dir on your system that you would like to use as a work: drive next to the amigasys4.hdf

In order to boot: Can I make a parttion of 15-20 GB? Maybe with my PC? I mean I configured well I think two HDFs I copied with my USB pendrive/stick and then when I try to boot it gave me strange errors.I don't know why my friends but...makehdf tool only let me charge 2 GB per HDD files so...

What can I do now to boot two 4.9 GB Games files on E-UAE:1.0.0 for AmigaOS4?

I really need some help as to how to setup an Internet connection there.I bet is not so much complicate so we can reach to good port and enjoy these awesome Amiga 1200 system again

Here ¡s some error after clicking on E-UAE's icon:

Well how can I post a picture? To just offer here my visions about the inner failures I have now

I really don't see the option to upload my images.

Soon?

Ah! And remenber that I only need to mount a CD/DVD drive to boot and play my games after installing it.Is the nature of evil that it leads me to the gate of a new CD0 drive to rule and enpower my awesome AmigSYS4 installation. That's the fact really in order to boot thing like Zombie Massacre and Gloom or WET games

Thank you and all the best

I have two HDF files System: and Work: and are both 4GB each.
If i remembered correctly i have created these using winUAE.

You can also use folders on you X5000 to be used as HDD`s in uae

for example filesystem2=rw,DH1:Work:A1200:Drives/Software,0

I really don't know what's happening...why I still have about 5-6 "hardfile"&"filesystem" lines written on ".uaerc" file and if I leave uncommented one after the "AmigaSYS.hdf" HDD image it only boots the AmigaSYS4 one alone. And the mayor problem comes that if I leave commented a "Work" hdf file for example it makes the emulator booting unstable so I can not boot neither "DH0:" or the Work's partition "DH1".It "freezes" a lot yeah.

Thankfully you already opened my eyes wiith these kind possibilities. That's a work from you that I apreciate

Only want to add that when I will succeded to boot a Work hdf or a Work dir inside E-UAE I will open a bottle of champagne or maybe some beers to celebrate the efforts given by you.

Want to know more about this great AmigaSYS4 inside E.UAE emulator.

Hi, i think you dont want to boot work.hdf but you want to boot your amigasys4.hdf with the work.hdf as second drive so you have a sys: and work: ....

I have my Work: mapped as a folder instead of a hardfile. Somehow i seems that uae only likes one hdf.

In my case it looks like this: filesystem2=rw,DH1:Work:A1200:Drives/Work,0

Hope this helps.

Would be nice if someone could solve this riddle....

hardfile=rw,32,1,2,512,WORK:A1200/Drives/System.hdf
hardfile=rw,32,1,2,512,WORK:A1200/Drives/Work.hdf

uae only mounts the System.hdf and not the Work.hdf

Thanks skateman.

Tried the filesystem2 line but no luck.Still says that cannot find the "Work" partition on Workbench 3.9 on bootup

Maybe bacause my "Work" dir is sized on 17.8 GB? Is very heavy I think.

Apart of this I want to use Internet on the Amiga emulation as I have the line of bsdsocket as true but it doesn't work with YAM or IBrowse.

If I result these 2 issues I will probably don't write more and set the thread as "SOLVED"
