Software News : RockBEAT 3.0 available
|
Posted by jahc on 2008/6/10 10:19:11 (2929 reads) |
Theres a few bugs here and there, but I've been sitting on this since January this year, so I thought I'd release it as it has a couple of nice additions.
What is it? - RockBEAT is a simple software drum machine for AmigaOS4. It is a tool for musicians that allows you to create drumming tracks. It can create multiple tracks, each one being 4x 4/4 measures with 16th notes. You can save individual tracks as wav files, or the whole thing as one big song. You can drop in your own 16bit 44100Hz PCM WAV samples in the drumsamples/ folder if you like. Great for the bedroom guitarist!

Internet News : Uh Oh! Spot's AmigaOS 4.0 blog has gone live!
|
Posted by spotUP on 2008/6/10 9:40:05 (1821 reads) |
People asked me to set up a page with a donation button for my AmigaOS 4.0 porting projects.
I decided to make it a page where i collect all the ports i've done. I will also blog about ongoing ports and stuff so if you want to keep up, check in from time to time!
So here's that page and that donation button, put it to good use! ;)
ATM just a small fraction of my ports are added to the database, but it will grow every day, and when it's complete, I'll start posting about interesting things.

Amiga Events : Amiga Seeding the Success Campaign from DiscreetFX
|
Posted by DiscreetFX on 2008/6/9 22:31:01 (2352 reads) |
Chicago, Illinois ? January 9th, 2008
For Immediate Release
Amiga Seeding the Success Campaign from DiscreetFX
The Amiga computer represents a lot of firsts in the computer industry but it also represents many missed opportunities. Since the death of Commodore in 1994 the Amiga has descended into dark times. They say you learn most from your failures and not your successes and this is most certainly the case when it comes to Amiga. And yet some good things have happened as well. The Amiga market has branched off into some healthy competition with the arrival of MorphOS, AROS & Amiga OS 4.0. The Amiga emulation scene is alive and well with Amiga Forever from Cloanto. And lets not forget the hard work of the developers of Minimig, Natami & CloneA. Amiga developers have transcended the need of one company controlling the destiny of Amiga and have forged ahead in interesting ways.
