Does the AmigaOne mouse feature a left and right scroll too?

I recently used a Bluetooth Apple Magic mouse on my AmigaOne-XE via VNC or Synergy (don't remember which one) and I was astonished to see AmigaOS4.1 let me scroll horizontally and vertically on Workbench and the Browsers.

Looking close to the pics of the AmigaOne mouse it seems the scroll wheel can be luffed left and right

edit: it is with the synergy client. You can happily scroll the contents of the Worbench windows left and right and if an icon in the window is selected, then the selection follows your finger movement! Fantastic!! Bluetooth mouse on AmigaOne-XE haha!

There's little arrows engraved on the buttons to indicate that the wheel tilts.

You could try AllKeys to set a pecific command to the mouse wheel tilt.

As far as i have tried yet the tilt doesnt seem to be working or anything in Workbench, but i could be wrong

That's an idea!
If memory serves well there is an ARexx command to scroll the window content. But using AllKeys, wouldn't it be exclusive to WB then, or do I have to define the mouse-event for every Software/Application?

I haven't bought an Amiga Mouse yet, maybe someone already owning one could try that out please?

but it seems strange to me it is not working for you, as I said scroll events works via synergy.. can someone with more knowledge explain please?

Well, as i said, i havent really tried it to an extent yet.

Maybe it will work for side scroling in i.e. Multiview (one of the things i have yet to try)

If you install AllKeys you can use the feature (if supported...depends if the tilt button "press" is read out by AllKeys) on all Workbench/Sysem progams, yes.

Other programs need to have that specific mouse event coded in iirc.

I am not on my miggy so canno help with testing.
If i remember it i will try and report back, but that may take some time unfortunately

@Amigo1

Sorry to say, but the tilt is not supported by "default" in neither Workbench nor MUI (albeit in MUI it might be possible to configure it to use it)

I'm not sure if AllKeys will be able to use the tilt (haven't installed it yet and pending the decision because of just one little added feature the mouse has)

Anyway, the mouse itself is working great (absolutely would buy it again)

Thanks for the info!

I might order one soon. Hopefully the mouse will be fully supported by the OS in the near future.
