Problem:
The saved power pref setting "High power" is not applied at boot. The card remains in low power mode.

Solution:
Open and close the power pref.
Alternatively you can open the power pref and press "use".

Strange, can't reproduce on my side. Maybe you can then create bugreport for "power prefrence" on aeon's mantis , because don't want to create one which can't reproduce and when devs will ask me anything about i can explain a shit :)

Done.

I do not know what those categeries for a power preference bug report mean but one of them is battclock.resource.

So maybe it's my X5000 battery

Tried multiple times now.
The score is improved by over 400 points once the power prefs have been opened.

@Kas1e

What I do is reboot the computer and run the test a few times.
I then open the power prefs and close them again without changing the settings.
I then run the test a few times again.

After opening the power prefs, the test scores are over 400 points greater than the test score before the power prefs are opened.

Cheers

What card and machine?

The difference for my RX570 + X5000 is ~2000 points.
