would love to edit some of my AutoCad drawings on my Amiga ..a simple 2D CAD program that allows importing/exporting dxf files should do...

I also read somewhere that Alladin 4D might have a 2D CAD program built in to v6 for AmigaOS 4.1 but haven't seen an official announcement as of yet

More architecture than CAD, but still usable and running nicely with OS4.1: Cycas (see Aminet).

What about getting DynaCADD and Cycas sources from authors, and then give it to me, and i will try to port it to aos4 native ?

I doubt that it will worth the effort. It is quite dated and in that form it works. Here is what I found in the context of DynaCADD authors:

Several years ago I bought a hungarian DynaCADD user guide in a promotion which contained the software itself for any platform. It's a 500+ detailed book. I never used it seriously but I think it has decent 2D drawing capabilities.

btw, i did a search on OS4Depot and nothing came up ..didnt even think to check Aminet...duh

I dunno from DynaCAD, but Cycass was still developped foor window(and maybe mac), so the only way was to ask the author if he like to send you the Cycass sources and let you compile it to OS4.x....

Cycass have also a free key donated from the author some year ago...

thanks for the info...I just sent an email asking them if they could release the osurce code to the community so that a native OS4.1 cycas could run on new Amiga hardware..will keep you posted

I have AmiCAD from OS4 Depot installed but I don't know how to use it. It's an electronics CAD so it might not be what you're looking for.

maybe they was on vacation...
Just yesterday evening I've foudnd a nasty bug in the 3 point arc function...
If we can get the source we can also solve that problem...
