Hyperion Entertainment is looking for people to join the beta testing team for the soon to be released AmigaOS 4.1 classic versions.

We are looking for people that have prior experience with AmigaOS 4.x, preferably AmigaOS 4.0 on Classics. In addition, knowledge about using bugzilla is required. You also need to have an Amiga computer (A4000 or A1200) with PowerPC accelerator (CyberStormPPC or BlizzardPPC).

10 days ago we release a port of well-known and good 3d fps game based on cube engine called "cube: 1". The news item with screenshots and videos are here.

But sadly to say, it was unplayable just because of one major bug : game uses glReadPixel() function for founding the chords with reffers to Z-component, which our warp3d/minigl cant handle at all for now. The result was bugs like "you fire in air like to the wall", "fire from grenade kill yourself", "you cant fire to anyone" and so on. So, after some annoing on forums i found one man with nickname "Tempest", who replace read_depth function to make it works not with glReadPixel + z_buffer, but by SANE method (sin/cos/etc), and as result, we have for now fully working game.

A new version of Word Me Up XXL for AmigaOS4 is now available. This update 1.2 includes notably:
- enhancement of all graphical themes (15) of the game,
- visual enhancement of some GUI widgets.

Yeah, a new version of Sirena Player this time with two new languages support Polish in two versions ISO or AmigaPL; and the other language Czech.
Also new PNG icons in the BonusPack drawer.

AmigaOS 4.1 for classic Amiga systems with PPC accelerators has been announced. This includes AmigaOS 4.1 Update 2 plus support for Radeon graphics cards via an x86 emulator to initialize them. There is also direct support for ZorRAM and you will be able to use multiple ZorRAM boards up to the theoretical limit.
