Software News : ClipDown v3.2 Released - Print Screens/Quit MPlayer and more

ClipDown V3.2 has just been uploaded to OS4Depot.

Version 3.2 adds the ability to quit MPlayer from the Project menu (useful when playing audio) and the ability to print screens via GraphicDump program from the Tools menu (Disable TurboPrint). Quiet mode no longer opens a shell when playing audio since it's no longer necessary to use Ctrl-C to abort playing. Various changes on supported sites and formats.

Gnumeric is a spreadsheet, which is similar to Microstoft Excel and is part of the Gnome Office Suite like the text processor Abiword.

The new update address a couple of bugs, and deals with some issues experienced when working in low memory conditions. Blender is now usable on Classic Amiga running OS4!

iBatch Version 1.2 has been considered as „Must have” for digital image batch processing on Amiga by recent Amiga Future Magazine. At the moment iBatch Version 1.2 is only available on Amiga Future CoverCD. So grab one, as long as you can !

Software News : SAM460 Audio driver for OS4 in beta testing

We would like to update you all on the development of the SAM460 audio driver. This was a lot more complicated than originally anticipated due to the nature of the SM502 chip.

Anyway we are happy to inform you that Ross Vumbaca in association with ACube Systems, has released an initial version of the SAM460 audio driver to the OS4 beta testing team.
