The good news is that the desktop planetarium "Digital Universe 1.5" for Hyperion's "Amiga OS4" is finally completed and available to order in the UK and Europe.

However, Dan Charrois of Syzygy who is organising the online ordering and distribution system is away on business for a while, so that there will be no download system until the end of November or maybe early December. This currently limits sales to physical CD copies, posted to UK and Europe.

Amiga Events : MiniGL V1.5. MiniGL gets display lists.

I'm pleased to announce that I have updated MiniGL to add display lists, and made a few other improvements too. MiniGL is a 3D API which is compatible to OpenGL(tm). It implements a subset of that API and was designed for speed, therefore it directly interfaces with Warp3D. This also means that there is currently no software mode.

duriing my normal compilations, i've ported Lincity-ng to AmigaOS4.
What is Lincity-ng?:

LinCity-NG is a City Simulation Game. It is a polished and improved version of the classic LinCity game. Within the scope of the GoTM project we have created a new iso-3D graphics engine, with a completely redone and modern GUI.

Amigahellas, the Greek Amiga community, was present at the greatest Greek technological exhibition D.T.E. 2007 (Digital Technology Expo), in charge of the "computer history" stand. With the valuable help from the organizing company, we managed to give the opportunity to both young and older visitors to meet and use computers from the past.

A report of the Alchimie 7 show is now available, in french, on the Obligement's website :

Alchimie 7 was an alternative computing show held in Tain L'Hermitage (France) organized by the Triple A association. Highlights was the presentation of the MorphOS 2.0 status (lots of things to see), AmigaOS 4 Classic version (with photo of the box and the floppy disk), Amikit, Haiku, OpenSound, Deneb, Blender, Samantha & ACube, robots, etc.

First beta of Basilisk II for OS4 uploaded to OS4Depot,

This version is bit basic, no ASL requestors, no screen mode requestors, and TCP/IP support looks broken (it does send and receive packages, but no connection is made.)
