This is an announcement of the immediate availability of version 0.62 of Cinnamon Writer. Cinnamon Writer is a compact and efficient word processor developed especially with Amiga and Amiga-like systems in mind. Cinnamon Writer runs on AOS 4.0 and 4.1.

E-UAE on AmigaOS4.1 (and MorphOS) supports only interpretive emulation and is quite slow compared to f.ex. winUAE.
What's needed is JIT 68K code emulation to speed things up.
Especially AmigaOS4.1 users with slower machines will gain a lot from a JIT version of E-UAE.

As the JIT will automatically become open source, other PPC platforms will also be able to benefit from it.

A new version of PortablE has been released. PortablE is an AmigaE compiler, written from scratch in E, and able to compile itself. It supports Windows, Amiga OS3, OS4, AROS & MorphOS.

Amigabounty.net announces a bounty to get WxWidgets ported to AmigaOS4.1.

Having WxWidgets available on AmigaOS4.1 will help give us easier access to a huge number of cross-platform applications and it will allow AmigaOS4 developers to reach a wider audience if they develop using WxWidgets.
