Software News : Wget for OS3 and OS4 updated!

WGET, The well know program for retrieving files using HTTP, HTTPS and FTP, have been updated, and for the first time from our side it now includes an OS4 binary as well!

The ChangeLog is as follow:

2009-11-22 Wget 1.12

* URLs in file's comments are now unescaped (eg: %7e -> ~)

* For the first time, added an AmigaOS4 build.

* Compiled using OpenSSL 1.0.0-beta4, download it from
http://amiga.sourceforge.net/ if you want SSL support
in Wget - OS4 users need to have AmiSSL installed.

Both os3/os4 builds includes our Amiga-only changes made
to previous Wget versions, of course.

Last os4 version i had was 1.9.1. Great to be updated. I use it daily together with ClipDown and getvideo so ill see how it behaves. Thanks again :)

I am use it every day when need to works on linux/unix machines. Cool that so important toolz are have place on amigaos.
