Some components will rely on fixes that are not contained in the AmigaOne version and nobody knows what those interactions may be if any. We never tested that so you would be on your own. Personally I would let the beta testers do their job and update only when the AmigaOne version is updated. I would call such an idea "Mostly Harmless" but we like I said, we never tested it. The components will be released on the A1 eventually (although no timeframe), and things might depend on kernel features. I don't really foresee any trouble, but that does not mean there won't me any. |
