Software News : Digital Universe 1.7 public release

Following on from the Christmas release of the update for existing users of Digital Universe to version 1.7, the full public release of Digital Universe version 1.7 is now available..

Details of the application and how to order can be found at http://www.digitaluniverse.org.uk.
Digital Universe is available to new users as either an ISO download or a physical CD.

Reminder to existing users:The upgrade from v1.6 to v1.7 is free, and can be found in the Install Files area of the Digital Universe website. So for those that have not upgraded yet, there is no excuse not to !

Several 'Extra Large' planetary feature maps are be available as a seperate file which can be found in the Install Files area of the Digital Universe website and also on OS4 Depot. Note: There is no need to download this file if purchasing a physical CD.

A list of the main bugfixes, new features etc. since version 1.6 can be found at
version 17 history. Version 1.7 is a significant upgrade compared to version 1.6.
